As a result of this time-stamped metadata, viewers can search not just for content at the file level, but also search for content within the event and be directed for playback to the moment in a presentation where the search term is referenced.
• Polycom Category/Channel Publishing – System administrators can establish logical content categories and associate any newly added media with at least one content category. Content Categories and subcategories can be organized under a cascading tree structure to provide users with an intuitive way to search for and replay, relevant content.
• Polycom Three-Tier Retention Management – Through the Polycom Media Director, Polycom Three-tier Retention Management enables IT users to set rules to proactively manage content expiration at the edge server cache, published library and database level.
• Polycom Format Transcoding – Content is transcoded by delivering video content to the most widely used third party transcoding systems and then returning the content to the Polycom media management data base level.
