Arijit Bose

Ari Bose, Senior Vice President and Chief Information Officer, has global responsibility for Polycom’s IT organization and strategic transformation.

Mr. Bose joins Polycom from UTStarcom, a global leader in IP-based networking and telecommunications solutions, where he held the position of SVP, CIO, and Business Transformation Officer. At UTStarcom, he developed a global information strategy, re-engineered business processes and systems to drive the transformation of the company, and drove the integration process for several acquisitions. Prior to UTStarcom, Mr. Bose held the position of VP and CIO at 3Com, where he transformed IT into a business-partner approach across 3Com’s business and geographic footprint. Mr. Bose led several acquisition integrations as well as the IT integration process through the joint venture with Huawei. During his tenure, Mr. Bose's group was selected as the No. 1 IT organization of the year in technology by Information Week. Prior to 3Com, he held senior management roles at Apple, Nortel, and Quantum.

Mr. Bose has an MS in Software Engineering from the National University, San Diego, and a BS from Delhi University.
